Having a sneaky peek at lunchtime - my only plea is that peeps don't change their name AND their picture at the same time or i will really get muddled ! Unfortunately that didn't help with Louise, who looks remarkably like Verdunimageimage. Relations by any chance ? Or just shop at the same blue t-shirt shop image

Hi all, I watched a documentary about Maria Callas, apparently she lost loads of weight with the help of a tapeworm!

Having read a lot of posts about how good Geoff Hamilton was on GW I had a look on youtube and there are heaps of videos image

I need to haul my lazy **** up a few mountains if I want to keep eating what I like doc  image

Stop changing your names you lot - I'm old and easily confused! image

Someone asked about sticking plants in bigger pots - when there's roots showing at the bottom of the pot they're in, that's when to pot on. They've used up the room they have and need more. If you have more than one seedling in a pot, you prick them out into individual ones when they're big enough to handle, ie a couple of pairs of true leaves. image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Off to meadowhall, can someone pop down and do the windows for me?

NO, Mrs G., not MeadowHELL. That place is my worst nightmare. I get worse panic attacks thinking of that place, than I did when I was ill.

Verdun,  Tiki torch very nice. How many echinaceas have you got now?

  • MrsGardenMrsGarden Posts: 3,951

    I'm back.

Thanks for the echinacea reminder V. So the cuttings from last year I'm not to let flower this year, yes?

PD - I survived M.Hell, only went in M&S then also survived Aldi !

Getting giddy (one extreme to the other) about cooking now.! Bought tagine paste but I've got the spices  already in a cupboard so gonna do it properly anyway.

Hi all, been out for a run (soz drive) to what someone told us was the "manure" shop because you get a manure loads of stuff for a fiver. Well it was a cash & carry with some plants out the back. In the trolley jumped Cornus Alba baton rouge, well established in 8" pot, 2 ordinary Euphorbia, and Euphorbia purpurea. Nine pounds in total. Plus a few more pots 6 image  Sadly they didn't have horticultural grit so "must" go to Morrison's tomoz' for discount day.

Pdoc well done for making effort and going to a gym. How come you associated alcohol with me?  Would I deny you one of life's pleasures? image

Ash, don't fancy a tapeworm, you could try a blister under your tongue (another blinking KEF ailment after visit to dentist) that makes you less inclined to eat. Only ate half my toast this morning, not worth the effort.
