Great pictures of the poppies at the Tower, Lily. We're thinking of going there tomorrow - is it still horribly expensive? And how much of it is under cover? cos it's forecast to rain for much of the day...
Bit dark out yet but the ground looks very wet which is a good thing. Yesterday I dug up a phlox that never flowered since I bought it a couple of years ago and an aster that has always been prone to mildew and was amazed at how dry the ground was in that area.
Can't be any more miserable and dark than it is here Panda It's horrid - even OH is complaining about the weather, and he doesn't usually notice it much!
Have a great day yourself
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Sorry Matty didn't answer your question on the poppies. They are still adding day by day till 11th November, then they start taking them out on the 12th ( i think)
Caught up with dancing prog, glad that person went, but hope the other one goes next week ( just in case you haven't seen it
Have a good day at work or play everyone
TTFN x
Matty, this one was in a glass case by the iron fence.
Good morning all 10C dull & windy here, rain due later.
Lily wow the poppies are fantastic, lovely pics as well Chicky, early guests
Fidget, bet you didn't take photos of the nudie rudie On a very choppy sea crossing on a small ferry I fell on my knees and ended up face first into a German blokes groin and when I apologised he replied the pleasure was all his
Glad that some peeps got jobs done in the garden, did a bit here but was rather lazy.
Ouzo gravy was but only required a capful to a pint. The bottle which was unopened came from Samos, been in the cupboard since 1991 looks like a lot of gravy needed to use a litre.
