Evening All, Been on Nanna Duty today.  Grandaughter especially cuddly today, just learned to walk and very proud of herself.  Home now and been catching up on here.  Weather was lovely in Worcester but not sure what its been like here.  I'm hoping its going to be relatively dry tomorrow as the lawns need mowing and I want to get into the garden and plant a couple of things plus do a bit of planning.

Seem to have the house to myselfimage.  Both girls out, OH at the gym.  Settling down with a cuppa, and going to treat myself to some old Beechgroves, and some who do you think you are.  Never, ever normally get control of the remote .... now lets see if I can get it to work .......

Greetings all from creaky Liri.  It's strange how I ache these days, considering I'm only 27... image  Been removing dead couch grass from the steep slope behind the house, then sowing it with grass/wildflower mix.  (Thanks to Nut who suggested now as the best time to do it.  image)

Found myself "helped" by a couple of dogs, who had escaped from their owners on the path higher up & had come to investigate the strange mud-covered woman.

Anyone know anything about gardening in the west of Ireland?  Son-in-law has been offered the job he was going for in Galway.  They've got a fortnight to make up their minds, but I expect they'll go - it's too good an opportunity to miss, I think.

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

I'm back from Chinese meal out with friend in my village who is going to open her garden the same day as me. Her garden is charming, old stone presbytery surrounded by roses and clematis, herb garden, old well with bed round it, gravelled iris bed, 2 ponds and bantams and doves. I think I've overeaten image feel bloated.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
