Chicklet passed her driving test - thats smilies for happy and worried at the same time. Being in the car with her recently I had found myself pretty relaxed - so I guess that means she was ready. Will be great for her to have a bit of independence - we are in the middle of nowhere and not well served by buses or trains without a car journey to the station first. But that won't stop me worrying
Busy busy again at work - looking forward to a respite from Friday. Cold is doing much better thanks - no more pill popping.
Hope yvie's missing parcel is plants ( the best sort). Love your gadgets namesPanda - we have a car called Arnold
That sounded a bit like that horrible 'we are a grandmother' statement didn't it?
Well done young chicklet, but I know what you mean about worrying chicky Youngest fairy asked yesterday how much driving lessons were. I told her she'll need about £20 an hour, test costs of a couple of hundred pounds ...then several grand for a car, insurance and road tax....
Verd - worrying as you say. When you watch comedians taking the mick, you forget that in reality, they're not far away from fact
Have a good day workers - I'm off for a look round while I get a leisurely breakfast ...
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Car is called "Henry" ( well past Henry V1 th.} Satnav is "Ermintrude", aged Rubber Plant is "Gwendoline" and Teddy is " Biscuit". That's me in a nutshell...
Off to Norfolk later, hope to do a couple of gardens among other stuff, will report later.
Agree Verd. re the "buffoon" perhaps he is liked in comparison with the nonentities he shares a platform with. Have we ever been governed by such a shower with the opposition just as bad? I suggest we all go out into our gardens and lose ourselves.

Our car is called Lola (she was a show girl, with yellow feathers in her hair and a dress cut down to there ........)
