Good to see you Pdoc, but sorry the news about your Mum is worrying. Enjoy some garden time as a welcome respite for a few hours - still plenty of wildlife buzzing round in mine to watch.
Another lie-in here - but will get up soon for some garden pottering. Just tweaking needed at the moment, so lots of time to just look at it
The Undergardener has removed all the toms from the vines and is now taking up the plants and puttinh them in the brown bin - probably not enough room so bin bags will have to be used.
We have about two large buckets full of semi ripe and green toms - hopefully most will ripen - then as soon as this splint's off I'll be making chutney.
Please don't let me grow 30+ tomato plants next year
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Hello all. We've just come back from a lovely holiday by Lake Garda. Great weather, a couple of huge thunder storms, but they were at night. Beautiful scenery.
Has anything happened here that I should know about? Haven't had time to look back yet and there are probably 100s of posts since I've been away.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Glad you had a lovely time Panda. Stay for awhile....at least till brekkie/brunch is cooked
Day off for good behaviour. Little sister gone to look after Mum. Sadly second operation does not appear to have worked, so Mum is now nearly blind.
I am going to try and relax in the garden, hope you all manage to do the same.

And in the time honoured tradition of sharing our purchases, here is my new sky rocket. Did you ever see a more "cuddly" plant??
I'm not good at just 'relaxing' in the garden either doc, but in the circumstances, I think you need to give it a go. x
Tweaking's good chicky. I find doing a bit of deadheading with the radio on very therapeutic. Is that weird?

Similar Fg, but without the charm
