Glad you had a good time with son Dove and I hope the yellow fades soon.

Verdun how many acres have you got to fit in all the plants you have been buying latelyimage  Have fun trying out all the bedsimage

Fairy, are you painting the bench the same colour as the screen? It's a lovely colour.

Have a lovely relaxing day lily - it sounds as though you really need itimage

    Any plans today Bekkie?image

Yes Lesley - same colour. Will have to make a few cushions for it as well image

Verdun is Lord of Cornwall  - didn't you know? He has a very  large estate as befits someone of his status ...image

BM - I have to be quite particular with the plants as it's a small pond, and a small area around for other planting. There's a couple of places I've used before for the basic stuff, but most places can't stock a big range as it's such a niche market, which is fair enough.  I've mainly used online specialists in the past so I'll spend a little time looking.... even though I really know what I want  image

Panda will be worn out with all that carousing image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Phew - you've exhausted me just reading all your plansimage

I am sitting in bed with a cuppa - don't feel guilty as I'm an early bird all weekimage

Off to get my hair snipped in a minute, then might pop in the GC on he way home.  Got a lovely pale pink hydrangea at Wisley last week, and think it will change colour if i put it in the ground here, so am going to plant it in a pot.  The one i have in mind is one of the curvy ones, so need to get another plastic one to go inside or I will never get it out again.

just been for a GH snoop (in dressing gown) - still loads of tomatoes coming thick and fast.  And a Lord Lambourne apple for my lunch.

have a good wedding Panda, bench sounds great Fairy, bruises sound technicolour Dove, stumps sound intriguing Woody (pics requiredimage) .... and to everyone else, have a lovely dayimage

  • Morning all, you all sound bright & breezy this morning!

I am feeling a little stiff from a calf strain at running club the other night, rest & elevate leg they say, so not my style! Brain also fuzzy from the Running club AGM last night, obviously all in French, they all speak 100 miles an hour (unlike my running pace) and they all talk over each other, so really not easy to follow. (Doing me so much good this running club, mentally and physically image )  Does seem I have a dedicated personal coach who will be there for me whenever I want him, and the president is a gorgeous Italian who has taken me under his wing, so not all bad! image

This morning off to tackle the raspberries and blackberries, been meaning to get at them for ages and then yet more weeding to find a home for my gorgeous bulbs! Have a super day everyone whatever you are doing. image

DD - weeding and tackling raspberries whilst keeping your calf elevated?? - sounds like a gym/yoga/contortionist club, not a running oneimageimageimage
