    I think there's enough for a shower.

I've had 23 years to turn it into a garden! Goodnight.

Tracey, we back onto fields then woods, it was one of the reasons we got this house. We've thought of moving a few times, but never have because of the views. At the end of our road is lakes and more woodland so we are very quiet here.

How did your piano lesson go. Is Ollie fully recovered now.

Know what you mean Ed, phone texts or threads like these  etc can be read so differently by people. Especially with abbreviations or if you miss out comers etc.

I'm sure we've all done it at some piont tho. It can be so hard to put accross joking or teasing sometimes.

Hope this makes sense too,  its late now, I fell asleep on sofa again! Nite nite all

Have a lovely time Dove - many congratulations to them (66 years ..... Wowimage), and happy birthday to Pa - may he have all the (ice cream) cake he desires.

hard frost here - looks like it has been snowing, but it hasn't.  Might have known - when i went out at 8 last night the stars (particularly Orion) were blazing in the sky - so knew we were in for a cold one.  Need to go wake a chicklet - hoping she is on the mendimage

Morning all.... Tracey that is v impressive I hope they germinate well for you and produce cracking plants as fruits..... Well a cold crisp morning with the sun rising over the steel roofs of slough trading estate... Costa coffee in hand so all is well... I planted out some digitalis grandiflora plants yesterday grown from seed ( from seed swap) my seed box is still overflowing. The window ledges are groaning all around the house ... Got to move some of the chillies upstairs tonight and plant another batch up I know it's late but!! I'm glad we are going to the chilli fiesta this year there is a grower there called Michael ( he advised hugh fernley whitingstall) and he is a font of knowledge I have a 3 year old plant I want to show him as he reckoned it wouldn't do the plant any good over wintering it( I'm getting chillies on it already)!!!! Right work later peeps xx

Good Morning. Hard frost and 2C here.

Spent a glorious day in the garden, weeding, pruning, tidying and have 3 125Ltr sacks of rubbish to take to re-cycling centre, stuff that wouldn't compost in daleks. It was dry enough to get one lawn cut. Then ate an early meal and conked. We didn't stop for any lunch so were starving, only thing I had the strength to make was ham and cheese omelettes, oven chips and salad, but it tasted great after actually doing something physical.

    Dove hope you & AP's have a lovely day.imageimage

Poddington image have fun in there.

Chicky hope chicklet feels better today.

Stacey, bet LO misses the toys image

Gardeng, great bug box and station looking lovely.

Matt won't be long before you have your GH.

    Everyone I've missed, hiya image

If the weather stays dry, today will be a repeat of yesterday but in Mum's garden.

    Have a good one everyoneimage

Morning all, lovely sunny morning here with a thick haze rising in the fields behind. Lets hope this is the start of things to come. I need a couple of dry weeks at least to be able to get out in the garden. Looking forward to see what has survived in the back garden.

Have a lovely day with Ma and Pa Dove. Wow 66yrs, tell them congratulations and a very happy birthday to Pa.
