Evening everyone, I think I've just about caught up image Feeling a it better today, was just having an off day, not happened for ages!!  Anyway, feeling more positive now.

Bill, so sorry about your son's cat, it's always difficult losing a pet but probably even harder for you. image And there was me feeling sorry for myself for no particular reason!!!

I'm shattered tonight so won't be on too long, been to Nottingham today and the weather on the motorway was horrible, windy, rainy and dark.

Going to go and enjoy GW now I'm in the mood for in while the boys watch Top Gear!!

Haven't seen sign of Hefty yet KEF, I have been keeping my eye open this week as the nights have been quite mild but not so far .........

Well, we are stuffed to the gills with squid stirfry - thanks for the offer of lovely Yorkies Fg, but we had some prawn crackers and there's no hope for us now image

Yep, Tracey, the weather up here has been vile. I was at work today, the boss had today off to do some gardening LOL. The girls said I should do the bosses garden, but as hes distinctly OCD tidy, I don't think my exuberant approach would impress him. Tidy in the garden I'm not.  The spag bol I took out of the freezer this morning appears to be stew base, So its been turned into gravy to go with sausage and mash. I must really start labelling stuff in the freezer. I have too many UFO's (unidentified frozen objects).  Good day for gardening forecast tomorrow. Time to harden off the broad beans and dig the broad bean patch over.

Mmm this Sauvignon blanc is really good after a hard day at work.

  • Is this a record? Just had an email informing me that someone on GW forum had sent me a PM.......I actually received, read and responded to it on the 12th March.

Yes but isn't it exciting fidget, when you defrost something you think is soup only to discover it's daughter's apple sauce...image

Not that I've ever done that of course....image

The little bat here was swooping around last week - for two days when when we had spring image

Rather nice Stroganoff for dinner consumed. Cup of tea required now.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Ah, just seen your on the edge of Nottingham FB, what a nightmare the roadworks are into Nottingham!! I'm working until weekend so hoping very much for good weather from Friday lunchtime onwards (please keep everyone crossed for me!!)

Anyway, quick question for my gardening friends, my marigold seedlings are coming along nicely but I have made the mistake of putting them in the propagator with other seeds, which haven't germinated!!!  What do I do?  I think I'm meant to take the lid off once they have all germinated, but can't??  image

Nearly all my chilli seeds have come through Stacey, apart from the Mushroom chilli and one other type whose label seems to have disappeared!!  Loads of Cherry Bomb and Purple Riot though image

So, are you in Nottingham all week, Tracey, or are you commuting?

Nottingham Railway station is a disaster area. I went round it twice trying to find panda when we went to Hodsocks. The rest of the roads around here are full of potholes. Hence it cost me a new spring for the car when I had it MOT'd last week.image

No I was just there today FB, seeing customers, I think I parked near the station??  Maybe they are fixing the roads with all the roadworks, I was half an hour late and hate being late, 3 hour journey from home image  It's rubbish that it's cost you financially because of the roads image
