That terrace is looking good Woody.  Sorry to hear you're not 100% Bekkie.  I saw that sketch about the mole, it was really funny, I always think about it when I pass a verge and there are a lot of mole hills.  Well the pink umberella did the trick just as I knew it would.  A good shower of rain here this afternoon so no watering for me this evening. The sun is out now but a few clouds still about, I think we are due a few more showers later on.  OH just cooked salmon, salad and rice, very nice.  I think he sneaked in a packet of Fox's double choc cookies for later but I've pretended not to notice and I'll act suprised when he produces them later.  Ive done a bit of cutting back again today and I'm fighting the urge not to finish off my plant changes by moving my two gold roses.  I know its a bad idea as Im going on hols in a few weeks and wont be about to water them but its killing me to leave them alone.  Might have to buy a few plants to make me feel better.  I did think about ordering the chocolate cosmoses from the mag but wondered if I'd be better growing them from seed.  Has anyone else ordered them.

Hi Lily,  I really cannot believe how quickly its gone since you said you were leaving the salt mines.  I don't suppose its gone as quickly for you.  I dont think you will regret it for a moment.  I certainly havent.

OL when I was at work I used to listen to Chris Evans at Carfest.  You werent one of those who bid thousands to drive fast sports cars were you.  I could just imagine you behind the wheel of a ferrari.

Hello folks - I'm back image

Used to listen to Chris Evans on the way to work - I do listen to him in the morning at home, but it's not the quite same as frightening fellow commuters by singing along to How do you like your egg in the morning? with my top down while stuck in the traffic on the Riverside image

Spent a nice time with son - we did some shopping - he made lunch then he cut the hedge (neighbour's brambles invading image) and I sprayed some green alkanet image.

Then I visited the Aged Ps - Pa was frail but fine - Ma was confused and cantankerous and no one could do anything right - it's at times like this I'm sort of relieved that she can't walk more than a few steps 'cos she'd be a nightmare image

I stayed for quite a while to try to help her relax but it didn't really do a lot of good - when I walked out I felt like screaming image - stopped off at a little shop and bought a Diet Coke to keep me going on the journey home ( it's just over an hour).

I'd bought some meat from son's butcher for supper, but when I got home OH sat me in the sofa, gave me a very large Campari and soda and made a quick supper of bacon, eggs, fried tomatoes and fried new potatoes - served with Stokes Bloody Mary tomato sauce - fabulous comfort food and a fabulous OH - I am very lucky image

Bekkie - hope you're recovered very soon ((hugs))
