i would have to add verd for ecinechea as well oh and wild swan.... talking of which there is another of the swan variety out it has taller flower stems i saw it at hampton but can't remember what it is called lol !!
Morning all. Stacey - make sure you get rid of every last crocosomia bulb before you plant those agapanthus! I made the mistake of growing them near to each other and now have part of a bed where they have completely intermingled. Now neither flower well and as both of these plants have thuggish root behaviour, it impossible to remove the crocosomia and just leave the agapanthus (Headbourne H.)
Only thing for it is to remove them both completely - no mean feat with 1 square metre of top growth - that means the agapanthus roots will cover twice that area!
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
