And breathe Wood green. Looks like you've been busy. Not been to Waterperry. Sounds lovely. The new terrace will be lovely once finished. Pimms o'clock. Make sure you post some pictures.
Hi WW good to 'see' you again, sounds like you have been very busy. Waterperry sounds lovely, Oxford is quite a way from me, tho we have been up there and plan to go again for a long weekend, so will make a note WW.
The sprinkler is on, the veg patch has had a good soaking so hopefully rescued my sprouts, now it's in the lawn which is looking very pale and even yellow/brown in places. No rain forecast until Thursday then heavy rain Friday.......Sod's law when we are at James Blunt outdoor concert!!!
Anyway, onto more serious matters......why is me that causes mayhem??? You can't believe how wrong that would be but I really like it as I was always known for being the good girl at school, it's nice to be a rebel now I'm older
Oh to have a place like The Enchanted Wood and be able to escape to magical faraway places, or to having a wishing chair that could do the same......a girl can dream
I remember when I was little and my grandad had a proper old gypsy caravan, the ones with a round roof that a horse pulled, it wasn't used but was like a 'static' caravan he used as a holiday home, it was in a field next to a stream. We had some fantastic times there and I really did feel like Anne (my sister was George!) for a few days, we even had to 'bath' in huge buckets from the farm!!
Sometimes I wonder if I live in fairytale land too much?????
WW good to catch up with your exploits Glad you have help with heavy jobs in the garden but I bet you supervise You just have to be hands on in your garden or it's not your garden
