I saw a flock of 20 of these beautifull birds in an ash tree enjoying the sun today in a cul de sac in the middle of Lincoln. My first sighting of this bird ever.
About a month ago there was a large flock in the tree outside my office in Uckfield, East Sussex but today I had real treat when just 2 visited a berry tree in my garden. They were only there for a minute or two but it great to see these beautiful birds really close. Herstmonceux, East Sussex
Update from Herstmonceux, East Sussex! After seeing just 2 yesterday, I realised that today there was a larger flock at the bottom of the garden - about 20-25. Their song is amazing.

We had a flock of about 30 wax wings feeding on our berry tree this morning in Bristol - brilliant. We had to search on the internet to find out what they were as have never seen them before. According to the info they don't usually come this far south west.
