  • They are in Oakley Vale, Corby, saw a flock of about 20 eating Rose Hips off the hedges around Shopping Centre Car Park. Amazing site !!

  • I have just seen three waxwings in my garden (Doncaster)Although i'm no expert bird watcher i had never seen this bird before and was interested to find out what type it was.Through this site i was able to do so. Many Thanks.
  • Today and yesterday saw 30-40 close up, in my garden munching on berries. Beautiful exotic looking creatures with a sweet chattering song (Utley, West Yorks) photos on flickr. First time for me was very excited.

  • just seen a beatiful waxwing in our crab apple tree in the front garden. BS7 8HN Bristol
  • 7 waxwings on our aerial at 5 pm, my partner noticed them as he walked down our road. He didn't recognise the plumage on their heads. Kendal Cumbria LA9 7AN
  • Seventeen waxwings in the trees within the Ordnance Survey site, Romsey Road, Southampton at 4pm. Flew off eastwards at about 4.15pm. Feeding off berries within the site.
  • i have seen a flock of around a dozen of them in trees around B T yard in Lincoln rd Enfield last week, i also saw a single bird today 15/2/ at same address
  • I had about 25 birds feasting on a crabapple tree in the garden this afternoon. Not a bird I recognized or have ever seen before, but having looked it up the only thing they resemble are waxwings. We are on the outskirts of a small town in West Yorkshire not far from Ikley
