  You're not alone, I crave those orange/tan coloured ones and the won't stay. Alkaline but not chalky here

  You can add an avatar straight away, just click the space where a photo will be on your profile. 
  Adding a signature is different, you need to have made a certain amount if posts. But I've read over there that admin have helped people out so they can do it before the number of posts is reached.

  I’ve got clay soil in some areas of garden but compost rich soil in “new” borders - achilleas thriving in both soils
