Wow I’m already confused. Signed up fine but says I have “insufficient privileges to post”…. Anyone know what I’m doing wrong?
You might have to wait confirmation. I was banned after signing up 🥺, but got resolved by a moderator. If you go on the gardeners world gathering pace and click on "99" you can see what to do in case of trouble.

They have been overwhelmed with us, but they are really welcoming. I agree that the site is more difficult to navigate, let's hope we learn soon.

Just give them some time @Jacquimcmahon - they've been overwhelmed.  :)
Once you're in, if you click on Forums, at the top of the page [it should really be 'topics' IMO, but hey!] you'll see a list of subjects. Either choose one to post on, or simply click new posts, and go from there. It's not actually as difficult as people are suggesting.
There's also an option called 'spy' and if you click that, you'll see a list of the most recent posts.
Other than that - just look around and spend a bit of time getting used to the ins and outs, and if in doubt - ask the mods. They're actually present - and help people!  :)

Am now Butterfly6 (66) was taken and found my same avatar. It always takes a while getting used to new things, am sure we will all be GC proficient soon 🙂

Still @Collareddove on Gardeners Corner.  I took a while to find my way around this forum, so  I'm sure we will get used to the new format.  It could be exciting with so many of us migrating to GC.  They have indeed been very welcoming.

Hi @Jacquimcmahon , I'm ashamed that I have to confess to a little smirk when I read your new username over there, until I realised that I was "reading" the pause in the wrong place :o Sorry! I WILL give myself a mental slap on the wrist until I "unsee" it.

lol Jacquiscrap comes from a scrapbooking forum I took part in many years ago…. The name kind of stuck as it can also mean all the other “c—p” !

Nothing to be sorry about ladybird. It’s a crazy name, which can intentionally be read several ways…. All part of a fun online persona.
