I would just like to say thank to all of you who give such amazing and very quick advice and answers to so many diverse questions/problems/issues. This is such an incredible resource and the knowledge of so many is just outstanding.

This is a great forum, not just for plant advice. I enjoy the social aspects too, being able to chat with people who share my love of gardens.
When you don't even know who's in the team

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I think it is easy to feel you don't know enough to be helpful, but then someone comes along with a qu about a plant you grow, and you find you do know stuff that you didn't know you knew. And, in turn, other people know stuff you don't. Between us, we must grow a fair range of plants and that is why the forum works.
One thing that has become clear to me is tending the same garden for a couple of decades makes a huge difference to the knowledge you accumulate and you could not learn this from books, etc. Experiences (failures, successes, what works here, what's best there) are key.
