Yes, it’s very sad indeed. Like all of you, I thought he was making a recovery.
I liked watching the Hairy Bikers, they had such a good rapport with each other and seemed so genuine. Si will be devastated I imagine, as they were so close.

    That’s a very nice idea @Topbird 😢

One of my all time favourites. Along with Si, I loved their down-to-earth approach to cooking. Their programmes on TV were always a delight. He will be sadly missed. R.I.P.

I hope he and Steve Wright are sat somewhere right now having a good belly laugh and sharing a plate of pie and chips. The world is a poorer place without those two shining lights.
    Yes - eatin' and laughin' - "no G"  @Topbird :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

So sad, I have been watching the 'new' series. Dave was only just saying how amazing and grateful he was to be back on the road with his 'old mucker Si'  after being off road for some time. He was embrassing every second of it. RIP Dave.

I found Kingy's post that his best friend was "on a journey that for now, l can't follow" profoundly moving.

    Such a shame.
