  • I am starting to worry, @war garden 572. All this prepping and references to war gardens and grow-your-own...Do you know something I don't know?  If so, please just spell it out.

    know. as for gardening I am working on several books
    related to vegetable gardening. As for prepping it  alway
    useful skill to have.  as historical aspects of my post
    history has a lot teach us.

    It was saved to the archive @waterbutts , due to the paywall. I understand McGuire used to be a climate skeptic, but not now. He had a recent article in The Guardian too. The Peak District sounds like  the place to be.     No need for a garden plan. Unless you have an allotment most U.K. gardens are small enough not to need one just grow different things every year and see what happens. That reminds me I must try carrots next year as I never have any luck with them and my veg patch is full at the moment with onions and garlic.
