Well, that's another problem @StephenSouthwest.   These chickens are all white with no identifying marks so how do I know which chicken moved?   They could be playing a version of musical hens and me none the wiser.

💡 Could they each be fitted with individual tracking devices, then all you need is a transponder and a pen … ?

Make several vegetable dyes and dunk each one. I can't see the problem.

I think they'd need ankle bracelets like prisoners out on license cos they all come running when we go down with their morning rice and afternoon sweetcorn.   If I go in very quietly and/or they're very busy, that's when I see they've been at my plants.

I was surprised to see Marcus Waring this evening leting his hens loose in the veg patch occasionally to clean up teh slugs.  Our hens take the veggies too, especially the brassicas!   We have to net them off.

I wonder if one could make a case to Planning Departments that all new houses need gardens that share an aspect ratio with outdated US paper sizes? Most new gardens are about the size of a sheet of paper though so maybe they're way ahead of me.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
