forum tweaks?

I'm wondering - does it seem that the image loading glitch has been sorted? I haven't noted a sideways picture for quite a while.

Also I notice a function to filter only marked pages to view on the home page. Is that new or was I being blind?

But then the question is - how does one follow a thread? It's not currently using the bookmarking / starred system.

The pic is the view from a laptop

    The mods have made their feelings clear on that.

    I don't think they have. They said that the forum was a politics free zone, yet folk have been discussing politics for weeks.

    Coincidentally I was wondering exactly the same thing a couple of hours ago!
    It'll do wonders for my neck if that is the case!

    @Obelixx
    I totally agree with you. This forum is no place for abuse, racism, etc.

  • With the obvious caveats, simply voicing an opinion about any government's policies or actions is a form of free speech.  People do it every day but this Forum's owners have chosen not to allow certain issues to be raised.
    Whilst many disagree, posters have to conform to the new rules if they wish to make use of the forum.  As @Obelixx says, the alternative option is to call it a day
    As for glitches,  I now find that the Dismiss button isn't available on the Announcements threads - it seemed to be working a couple of days ago.

    The Dismiss option is available on the current announcement @philippasmith2 … at least it is there when I click on the cog wheel.

    It was there on mine. When I clicked on it, it dismissed the thread and disappeared.....as before.

  • Still missing on the Insiders Panel thread for me.  I used the Dismiss button the other day and it worked but then the announcement reappeared - without the Dismiss option.
    Could be my computer - anything is possible.
