Hello folks. So sad to see the Forum is closing. Β Havenβt posted recently but it was nice to know you were all there. Iβll take a look at Gardeners corner. Love to all of youΒ
We are back at my home in France. Good thing it's a sunny day and quite mild. It was chilly inside, old stone cottage, but OH lit the fires then we went to the SM.
The garden is looking lush, parts are very wet and squelch when walked on. All the roses look very well but the shrubby blue salvias, apart from one, have died. I think most of the perennials are OK, but not sure about the big agastache which looks dead. The clematis are all growing.
There is a problem with the front electric gate. Good thing I took the key for the side gate. It stays shut and won't open. I have to turn it off to open it manually.
I haven't had time yet to look at GC or set up my laptop. I would rather look at GC on my laptop, it's so small on my phone. I will be EtoileViolette there, as I said last night.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Hi all. I will see you all in grdeners corner...soon .....I hope. It takes me a while to get my head round anything new, so I will be a lurker and read only before I get round to signing up.
Oh dear @rowlandscastle444 I am so sorry to hear that. I do hope they get you sorted out soon and you can get back home.
Yvie it is so good to see you once more. I have just 'caught up' with you on GC. The announcement yesterday has shattered us all but I'm sure we will all adapt eventually.
Busy, I'm pleased you have arrived home safely. I have many plants that have succumbed to the extreme wetness in the bottom end of my garden. Might have to just consider a permanent bog garden. I hope that you get the electric gate mended. I seem to remember you having a problem with it a while ago.
