I found this among our stuff after moving home?

We found something amongst the stuff we have unpacked, and have no idea what it is, or what it is used for.
Any (sensible) ideas anyone?

Thank you.

Levelling foot off an appliance or kitchen base unit?

According to Google Lens, it's an adjustable foot for furniture

  • Have you got any furniture which wobbles??

Or have the buyers of your old home now got some wobbly furniture 😁

We've not got any furniture that wobbles, although I'll keep it in case any of it does in the future.
As for our buyers, I very much doubt it - although it's possible it came off the washing machine, which we left behind. By agreement!!
The likelihood is that our removal men found it lying in their lorry (from another customer), as it was found in the local council recycling box that they picked up and brought in error.

Whatever it was on, or should be on, it's not something that we own.

Thank you again for the information.

They can come in useful.  My niece recently moved house and bought a new washing machine.  She also paid for installation.  First time she used it, it started bouncing round the kitchen.  Her stepdad went round to see what was wrong and the 'installation' was just them connecting it to the water supply, pushing it into the space and the 'offski'.  They hadn't attempted to level it at all by adjusting the feet.  Talk about a waste of money.  Her husband is DIY phobic and even he could have not done that job himself. :D
  • Whilst the above suggestions are more than likely correct, it's a bit boring - could you not fix it somewhere and gradually construct a tiny castle ?  When you have some spare time of course  ;)

My OH keeps picking up bits of stuff like that that he finds on the lane when we're walking the dogs. We reckon, in about 40 years, he may have a whole tractor

  • I like the idea of the castle, @philippasmith2
Not sure that my wife is so keen on the idea. Now if she goes out for the day, who knows what she will find upon her return.
