You could try cutting off some of the healthy sections and repotting them. They need to be left for the cut end to dry before potting. I've found this guide which will hopefully help.

He would have to be a very small soldier to get in there, or don't you mean Regimental Sergeant Major? Just using initial letters is open to misinterpretation although I assume you mean Red Spider Mite.

The cactus is 200ft tall, and the RSM is wearing a ghillie suit. You can just make out the barrel of his sniper rifle in the last photo.
