..it's probably one of the ground cover roses like 'The Fairy' or similar.  Need to see a full bush shot with lots of blooms..

How tall is your rose? Does it have a scent? Does it repeat flower?
It reminds me of Bonica, but we don't know enough about it and there are so many pink roses.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • @dangermousie I grew R The Fairy a long time ago, the flowers very small . If it is a very different rose to Rugosa.
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

    Great questions!
    1. Less than a metre, and they've been there for around 7 years
    2. Not sure
    3. Yep, still flowering now

Found this shot from earlier in the year

  • Hi @Silver surfer, is that your very own Rugosa? It's gorgeous. How old is it?

Some pics were taken in previous garden.
I have no room for Rosa rugosa now.
I just take my tiny camera with me everywhere and take pics as and when I see ANY nice plants.
Below is one in previous garden to show autumn colour...it was still young.
     They grow bigger.
