Halloween Succulent

Not sure I like this what are your thoughts?
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

    Has it been sprayed?  If those are its natural colours, I quite like it.  🙂

    I saw these in LIDL yesterday. I just walked past them as i assumed they were artificial.

    They're definitely painted. You can see the natural green colour at the base of the leaves. Most of the ones I see are a mess because people scratch the paint with their nails to check if it's paint or break bits off to prove it's not plastic.
    As it's plant abuse I hate it but at least it's better than them being made out of plastic. Lidl sell plastic succulents in pots with 'Plant mum' and similar written on them. If I turned up to school with plastic children they'd lock me up somewhere for my own safety.
    If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

    Does anyone remember blue carnations or blue potted orchids double yuk!

  • Very sad. What's wrong with appreciating a plant as it is?
