  • Some really interesting images! Keep them coming!
  • Time for some oddities...

    Dill

And I'm not sure the world is ready for this yet, but blame it on my husband who asked 'have you tried photographing slugs?' Hmmm. Somehow, whacky processing made it a tad more acceptable

Really beautiful @Alan Clark2 in Liverpool  - it would make a lovely card
  • re: cameras - I'm using an Olympus E-620 that I purchased used 10 years ago; most new iPhones take better quality photos.  I don't take many photographs these days because of that - I get pretty depressed that I work to understand the camera, processing, and training my eye and then a coworker with zero skills snaps a phenomenal photo with their phone.  Most of my contributions are older photos that I took with the E-620 or the E-420 I had before that.

I'm a huge fan of bokeh (blurred light that forms circles), and my old garden was situated perfectly for photographing during the golden hour, when I found it easiest to get the bokeh effect.  (I could have moved just a tad and had better focus on the bugbane flower spike, but I wanted the effect of the rays.)

It was also situated perfectly for silhouettes.

Sweet Woodruff, processed with a textured background and a filter that I can't recall.

And my contribution to webs with dew.

@NormandyLiz I love that you're sharing your knowledge, keep it coming.  :)  I still have so much to learn!

  • Loving these - it hasn't been the weather for much photography recently!
