  • Just been out for a walk and guess what, being noisy as normal looking  in the local front gardens.
    Lonicera nitida/pilleata with purple berries. Just shows how unobservant I am.
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

    Lonicera pileata is evergreen.

  • @wendymushens09352 To me the leaves actually' look 'evergreen. There is another plant I had in mind when you said purple berries but that is deciduous.
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.
