I miss the mixture of folk songs thing they users to start radio 4 with. It stopped around the time I stopped listening to radio 4.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

I'm too common to listen to radio 4

    Devon.
  • punkdoc i just type fast and don't bother to spell check or
grammar check . as for those 1000
    vegetable garden plans,
I collected them for a research project. the  tough part
with all those garden plans was  converting them all
to common system so they could be mathematically
analyzed. that was one job I did not have do. the group
wanted that data originally paid well.

Sounds mind numbingly boring. I can see why they asked YOU to do it
    Devon.

How do you expect anyone on this forum @war garden 572 to understand what you are talking about if you don't read your post before you send it.

    “ the group
wanted that data originally paid well.”

I am genuinely curious (aka nosey) who would want this historical information and how they anticipate getting a return on their investment. Is the answer commercially sensitive or are you interested in elaborating, @war garden 572? Given your erratic writing, do the commissioners of your research output express concerns about the veracity of your data?

Isn't that the kind of job they give to someone who is a PIA to get them out from under their feet.....
  • BenCotto one group used it to test vegetable garden planning
software and someone else used to study home garden pre-
1950's.  since most people did not publish there home garden
plans pre internet. sample plan from newspapers, books and
and magazine are only sources for historic vegetable garden
    plans info.

bencotto without dig for victory leaflet 1 and 23  you
have very little in way knowledge what WW2 garden looked.
there are pictures they show very little about how garden
were planned  and mostly show a few people and fuzzy
    pictures of growing vegetables themselves

Paper plans are merely theoretical. There's nothing to say the plans were adhered to in any numbers,if at all.
    Devon.
