    Astonishing really @punkdoc
As you say - everyone's an expert. I'd never dream of taking serious medical advice from folk on a gardening forum, unless they were medically qualified - like yourself.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • @BenCotto. To make puncdoc happy and to show trust in his profession, do what advised, and remember when trouble occurs that non-qualified patients told you it didn’t quite work out and they had to follow the second advice by the NHS - eat something.

    I my garden.

I gave no advice about taking iron, my advice was to avoid taking advice from totally unqualified people. As I said, everyone is an expert.
How can you lie there and think of England

Prescription medicines generally come with a leaflet or information sheet that tells you how/when to take them. As far as I'm concerned that's what should be followed unless your own doctor/consultant has given specific instructions otherwise. And even then I think I'd trust the information in the leaflet and would probably double-check if I'd been told different.

Our pharmacist advises on how to take our meds and he also checks with us regularly to make sure all our queries are answered.

Medics for medical questions, Pharmacists for pharmaceutical questions, rocket scientists for rocket science questions!

A question for rocket scientists: Why does it taste so horrible?

Because it is grass in disguise. All that green muck is.
My niece called rocket 'chokey lettuce' when she was wee young. 🤣
