Have you yet managed to find the vegetable pruning posts, @war garden 572 ? You assure us they exist but you seem reticent about providing evidence.

I'd like to know why War Garden isn't brave enough to give anyone the option to Ignore him?  Well, it's obvious I guess but  probably more to the point, why, when the forum offers an Ignore feature, this isn''t mandatory for all members.
Posters do not need to even give  their location never mind any personal details on their Profile so I can't imagine that is a reason for Private Profile.
I know we tend to veer off the subject of Gardening at times but that is much like any conversation between friends - one thing tends to lead to another and it can be interesting, enlightening and amusing.
Free speech is one thing but just as important is the freedom for people to be able to blank out  such rude, biased and ignorant posts.
When I first joined the forum in 2013, there was the odd squabble/disagreement / shit stirrer but nothing like the amount that goes on here today.
Shame how we've progressed in just 10 years :(

Wargarden doesn’t understand how anything is done in the UK .., neither gardening nor politics. The country didn’t vote for Boris … Uxbridge and the Tory MPs did. No one else.

@philippasmith2 I joined the forum in 2012 and there were some unpleasant posters years ago. I had some very unpleasant PMs because I mentioned that I went to church. There was also some trouble that made a group of posters break off and start their own forum. There have been several trolls in the past. I think it has improved over the years. I don't think war garden is unkind, just uninformed, but some people haven't been that kind to him.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

As soon as I clicked on this thread, I looked for the ignore button @philippasmith2. I have no desire to waste any more time on drivel. Very disappointing that I'm unable to!

There is an ignore button. I've never used it though. Someone will tell you where you can find it.

You can't use the ignore button for War Garden though, @B3, because he's set his profile to "private".  I suspect he's just a WUM with too much time on his hands.

Friends and I have been coming across Wargarden under his various aliases, employing his easily identifiable ‘wind-up technique’ on this and other forums for getting on for fifteen years 🥱
