    I’m not really just making a comment, it may be a stupid thread but I don’t want to appear as though I’m ignoring war garden . We British must appear to be as well mannered as the Yanks .

    I guess there's always the slight chance that a teat like War garden ( apparently  aka under various other silly names ) will eventually twig.  How long will it take tho as  I suspect not many of us have that long to live - unlike him apparently  ;)  I can't wait to hear about his experience re veg growing in the Boer war :D
