How old is it? Think asbestos before you do anything.

Will you still have enough storage space if you do remove it?

I would keep it. Not just for storage, but if you ever sell the house it adds value. And it's not that bad looking as garages go.

Understand about selling in future but if cars are too big to go inside it's a waste of space in my eyes

I'm inclined to agree with @JennyJ. Garages do tend to add value. The size of the remaining space you have is a factor too, and how you use the garden generally.

It's your choice though - if you want a patio, that's what to do  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Up to you of course. It looks as if there are a couple of windows on the house next door that might overlook where the garage is, and further into the garden if it wasn't there, so think about whether that would be an issue for you (or for them).

Are the infill panels moveable? I'd open up the side with the shed door, either totally open or glazed, use the old panels to block up the garage door, put a green roof on it and make it a nice covered patio area or summer house/potting shed.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

That's a very good idea the panels do slide out only thing woukd be worried if the panels would be able too be cut not sure if you woukd get a clean cut
