@GardenerSuze, I wanted to wish you good luck with your new garden. How exciting! I've had great fun with mine over the last couple of years. I would love to see before and after photos of yours.
I wanted to see if you had posted anything about it on another more suitable thread but your profile is private. I wonder why?
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
@Busy-Lizzie Nothing happening as yet only just arrived. I will be taking lots of photos and posting them. Probably upside down knowing me! It is great to have a new project.
My last garden was near a wood so many of the plants were more on the wildside with curved borders and paths. Back in March I lifted and split about fifty plants ensuring that the largest piece remained. I wanted to hand it over to the new owners well stocked and as I have gardened it for 35 years. I have done that.
I am so excited about this new garden but it won't be started without much consideration first. Will be posting at a later date, when I can find what ever it was in the house I was looking for!
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.
By the way, has anyone had a good experience with Hayloft? Just thought I would check. My feeling is that they were not good last year, the first year I tried them.
Sorry to witness the demise of the forum. 😥😥😥😡😡😡I am Spartacus
I absolutely hate them... they totally send me the wrong plants on my first order and it took forever arguing with them to get a refund... never again. @clematisdorset also they sell tiny plants for quite a lot of money...really don't understand why people shop there.
Thanks @amancalledgeorge. That has been my experience too. Tiny little plants in bad condition and lots of bullshit marketing to boot, not even delivered on time.

I agree - Hayloft is one of the worst. If you need recommendations, just ask - but be specific about the type of plant. Many online nurseries have a great variety, but some specialise, for obvious reasons. I'm sure the other forum will have a section for that too
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
