    I think, for many of us, this is a time of transition in our garden styles and planting.
    This year, I have planted very little out in the garden. I'm waiting to see out of existing plants,  what does well, what does OK and what doesn't  . I'm hoping by next year,I will have a better idea what to do. Moist, well-drained soil will be, as ever, a fantasy perpetrated by plant and seed packet labellers 🙄

     I’m just sitting outside of our farm shop and read the August issue in currently sunshine. 
    The new editor Kevin changes now to gravel garden not realising that gravel gardens cause heating up even more. I thought it was about natural planting. 

    BTW, what happened to Lucy Hall? I wonder why she left.
