    It all depends. Some plants do 'feel' as if they should be masculine or feminine and many have gendered names like my roses. So Gardener's Glory for me is an 'It' while Honorine de Brabant and William Lobb aren't. My Monstera is The Monster of course :)

    Repotted the horrible black grass ophipogon japonicus that my husband likes.  I used spent compost that a fuchsia died in last winter and put the pot where I can't see it. The flowers will be quite pretty but not pretty enough.

    For some reason, his competition grow the tallest sunflower sunflower didn't survive long enough to get planted out😐
