I don’t know if it would flower on the old growth, it’s always cut right back here in the Spring. I love the fresh new grown, the most beautiful bright green.
It does spread, it all around the garden here, not all from runners I’m sure, probably seeds from birds.
I don’t think they are plants for the smaller garden.
