    My daughter is a primary school teacher in France @GardenerSuze. She noticed some unkempt land in the village and asked the Mayor if she could borrow it to make a small garden for her pupils. He said yes and it was a great success.

    My daughter wouldn't eat veg as a chlld. She grew her own runner beans in a big pot.
    She was so pleased with what she had achieved,  she was happy to eat them too.
    For non gardening mums and dads this could be an easy and productive activity.
       
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.
