Save my weeping willow!
in Plants
I transplanted my weeping willow last week due to a house move and now it looks like this (see photo). Any advice on how to save it or am I wasting my time? Thanks in advance.

Poor thing .
I suspect the shock of moving it in full leaf in a heat wave has done for it.
Salix caprea Kilmarnock.
Try cutting branches back by 3/4.
Water water water.
Mulch the roots .
Cross fingers.

I am assuming it is in the ground.
If it is moved again that will definitely finish it off.
All fingers crossed
We have new growth! Thank you Silver Surfer for your wise words and advice, I would be without my favourite tree if it weren't for you.
New buds looking strong.
Hope it continues to flourish in the future.
Don't ease up with the watering when it is still hot and dry.
They are very prone to having a lot of dead branches underneath as they grow more dense.
I recommend in winter you prune these out.
They also get top heavy...see my poor specimen.
Please make sure you stake it on the diagonal.
