My Hotlips in the front garden is at least 10 years old. Although it's been flowering well and l've just given it an early "Hampton Hack", l'm considering digging it out this Autumn. The whole bed is in dire need of a revamp. There will be cuttings taken first though.
I am a bit disappointed to say that my salvia flowered once only, despite having the potential to flower again. They were small plants though and there was not much sun after June. Does anyone find salvia can suddenly burst into flower at irregular intervals?
