Have you decided for a plant yet? I was going to suggest origanum Kent Beauty as well. If not, how about a clover?

    I have 🙂
I've got a Tulbaghia, a Nemesia and an Erodium. I suspect they may be a bit squashed (never grown any of them before) though they've plenty of room at the moment. I'll post a picture when they've settled in.
That clover looks fabulous though - does it have a name?

It’s from the Trifolium Angel Clover series. This one is called Beauty. Supposedly hardy enough to be left outside in the winter.

I have a pot similar to your one and I always grow a chive in it . It is then put amongst my roses and it keeps away greenfly . I don’t ever use the chives I let it flower and it then attracts bees . Despite our cloudy dull and quite frankly b———dy cold weather it’s been covered in bees today .

Chives! You would have to have been a fan of Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer to know why I looked away when I said that - but they would look lovely in that pot.  Or perhaps pinks?
