Looks like lots of weeds may not be the way forward for future Chelsea gardens. Toby Buckland explained that weeds can be difficult to settle in and get a natural look.

@Hostafan1 As a child I dug up some dandelions and moved them to another part of the garden It is possible I didn't have all of the root but they were watered and they were slow to recover.
Could have been poorly planted too of course.

I enjoyed the program last night, especially the mushroom ladies! I have to say I'm not keen on gardens that "take you on a journey"

@Hostafan1 - echoing something along the lines of what Steve Backshaw (?) has just said on breakfast news, I believe demonstrating that you could balance placing great emphasis on nature whilst still having a tidy and beautiful garden it would be a good encouragement.

A wild garden is a sign of a lazy gardener. They never become a beautiful wild flower meadow just an overgrown messy weed patch

Speaking as a lazy gardener, I would say that mine isn't all messy and overgrown
    In London. Keen but lazy.

As a result of the mushroom ladies just read that mushroom plants are the next big thing to have in your home. I hope there is a warning about their air borne spores especially if you have one in the bathroom.

I find it amusing, that if you like them, they are wild flowers, but if you don't they are weeds.
You certainly can make a beautiful wild garden, but it is probably harder than making your "average beautiful" garden.
I try to do both in my garden, but I suppose I am fortunate in having lots of space.
How can you lie there and think of England
When you don't even know who's in the team
