hopefully it's a little more appealing when it flowers😂
They can look magnificent in big drifts. Near here they are growing wild along the bank of the river. There are many different Campanula (...common name bellflower, harebell etc.) from tiny ones to really tall ones.
Thanks for the pics
These are really beautiful I'm only familiar with the small domed type which flowers really briefly
Mine is blue so if it opens like that white one I'll be highly delighted
The leaves on it are already done for and the buds aren't nice so altogether it's a bit of an eyesore which is why I thought it was a weed
There are hundreds of different Campanulas, and lots of variation in the flower. I only grow our Scottish bluebell - harebells [Campanula rotundifolia] now as the slugs leave it alone, unlike the others. I agree with @Lyn - it really needs to be in the ground
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Snap. I only have room for small plants now. I love Campanula rotundifolia...common name harebells. So cute and dainty. 2 types of leaves round and thin. The white form is rather pretty too. White ones were bought 9 years ago as excellent plug plants on e bay. I was thrilled to receive such strong plants.
