Gosh, complicated. I wish the French didn't hunt on Sundays, makes after lunch walks tricky in winter. Sometimes they shoot each other, usually seems to be because their wife has been having an affair with another hunter. Happened in my village when we first moved to France and I've read about it in the local paper since.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
I think it is fair game to hunt stroppy Americans at any time. Should add that I have met many lovely Americans, and did work there for a while, which was an experience!
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Another reason why I gave up fishing. There's a closed season to protect fish during spawning but the majority of fisherman don't respect it for lakes and ponds because they're exempt. You see massively gravid carp being dragged out and posed for photos because they're extra heavy which means you win more bragging points. It's the same fish you'd catch a couple of weeks later but it would be lighter then and no one would be impressed with your fishing.
And don't get me started on the shooting of birds that are listed as being of conservation concern.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
