Thanks @Busyliz! I've just looked them up, and it's perfect synchronicity, because I have a space to fill where I moved a salvia from, and they're apparently tough and trouble free! 😃
According to t'internet, they do fine in light shade, which is where I have a gap, but it's pretty dry there in summer. Do they need to be consistently in damp, or are they OK with just not drying out too much once they're established?
They’re very nice and will grow consistently in a variety of inhospitable locations. I have 3 varieties. A short one about 30cm and a blue and also a creamy white (my favourite) at 80-90cm. A real sign of that magical time leading up to the longest day.
I confirm all that others have said: beautiful but short flowering period and look a mess after flowering. See my discussion here: Show us your Camassia bulbs!
All the bulbs I harvested last Autumn and re-planted (and gave) are currently in full bloom.

They like it nice and damp so do well for me.

I wish they flowered for longer though
