What are your favorites that you are growing?
  • with cages you don't need prune side shoots.
since pruning is only for neatness on poles or in green houses. .

This year Sungold, Chocolate cherry, San Marzano, Bloody Butcher and Tumbling Tom.  Your Brandywine look excellent - I have grown them in the past and your pics have inspired me me to try them again next year  :)

The tomatoes are really coming in now! This is what we are picking every three days.

It's aunt ruby's German green.  My new favorite tomatoe!  Very juicy. Lots of meat!  Not many seeds.  I tried to grow this last year but failed.  So far we have eight. My daughter agrees its her favorite also. Fairly large tomatoe. Why is this so uncommon?  Too hard to grow?

Gosh! They are early.  You are obviously not in the UK.  I thought mine were doing well but I will be lucky to pick the first by the end of June.
Based in Sussex, I garden to encourage as many birds to my garden as possible.

Fabulous harvest James!!  I know you bottle a lot - what a job!  Have you tried drying them  in the sun?

Mine are coming along nicely and should pick the first tomatoes around early July.

What else do you grow on that lovely property of yours?
A good hoeing is worth two waterings.
