Lol slow worm I say hello to the buds too! Hubby thinks I’m nuts, but I also tell flowers how beautiful they are 😂.

Persisting down and windy today so I'm sat on the sofa noodling round the PC now that our friends have moved on to Bordeaux and our 14yr old Lab is asleep next to me, clearly galloping in his dreams.  All 4 long legs on the go and little yips for the soundtrack.  Lovely.

I talk to my plants too @Jacquimcmahon and all thru the seasons as they change.  Everything outside is green and lush which is such a nice change from the last 2 springs when early heatwaves left everything panting and wilting from heat and thirst.  At least the weeds will be easier to pull after all these downpours.

See, I'm not convinced that's a pleasure, I pull them out and suddenly I've got a gap I need to fill with something I don't have!
I’ve no idea what I’m doing.

@Jacquimcmahon so do I, my OH is as daft with animals though.
He is 100% not 'gardener', but he loves the garden and all who sail in her. 😄

That looks like a hand made glass paperweight with green stripes in it!

I love it when my roses start coming out and I can walk around the garden and smell them and feel their velvety petals. Not quite there yet.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
