    Oh dear! I have been finding these in the stairs indoors  :open_mouth:

    As if eating up all my heucheras was not enough. How did it come indoors? feeding on some houseplant?

    The best thing about winw veevils is the crunch they make under your foot.

  • @newbie77 are you finding lots of them or the odd one? a couple of years ago i found 2 a week apart in the kitchen -- i worked out it/they had hitched a ride on some black spotted leaves i had put in the bin. 
    Kindness is always the right choice.

    So far I have found 4, all within one week. I will keep an eye.

    It's gone, but I will keep checking if there are any more. Made my DH aware as well.

    A few little notches in the leaves is all the adults do.  But the larvae ... Nowt you can do in the open garden, but check out your samll pots.
