    Why though?  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Indeed! Should always know the answer before asking a question - it's  a teacher thing.

Why come on here and ask a question to which you already know the answer?

To share information/ knowledge. I simply introduced the topic by asking a question.

If you think we’d be interested in an unusual wild plant there’s other ways of drawing attention to it. Sadly doing it that way makes it look a bit like showing off, which I’m sure wasn’t your intention.

Not my intention to show off!
I am new to this forum and unfamiliar with the peculiar sensititivies and idiosyncrasies of regular clentele.

I trust you can get over my apparent gaucheness, and can interest in this important little plant. 🤓

    Welcome to the forum   :)
we're used to being asked to help folk by identifying unknown plants … so a query like yours can feel a bit as if we’ve been ‘set up’ … and there have been a few occasions in the past when a deliberate ‘trap’ was set. I’m sure that wasn’t your intention so thanks for the explanation and apology.

Im sure you’ll soon get the hang of how this forum chunters along … and if you feel like getting to know folks a bit better pop into The Potting Shed and introduce yourself … all are welcome on Hello Forkers. 😊

    Many thanks Dove from Above.
I must find a more imaginative handle to keep up with such refined company.
I'm here to learn and look forward to such interactions.
Saxifraga Spathularis is my plant of the year. 🍺
