Hello - didn't see you had another thread on the go. Saw 2 yesterday and 2 more today down my local wetlands along with house, sand martins and swallows.
I heard the first one flying high overhead on Sunday but saw loads today all over the place. Looking at bird sighting reports they must have arrived in big numbers this weekend. Still very few Sand Martins though but they can't be far behind.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
The official count topped 160 at Slimbridge today and the river at Monmouth seemed to have plenty with a mayfly hatch going on. They're probably just refueling and will be with you soon.
