Lemon grass a couple of years ago and this year I'm trying cape gooseberry after a colleague at work gave me a couple of fruits last year. I kept the seeds and so far I have about 10 small seedlings

For those trying Physalis ( Cape Goosberry ) this year, I'd advise giving them plenty of room !!  I've grown them on and off for a few years - GH and outside - and they do like to spread when happy.  Well worth it tho :)

I grew about 4 plants of Cape Gooseberry a couple of years ago.  As @philippasmith2 says, they like space and water.  The fruit keeps for quite a while in the fridge in their "lantern" casing.
A good hoeing is worth two waterings.
